Penn State Blue Band To Hold Annual Bandorama Friday

The Penn State Marching Blue Band will host its annual Bandorama at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Eisenhower Auditorium along with the Symphonic Band.

The Blue Band holds the concert in the Eisenhower Auditorium with the Symphonic Band every year. Led by director Greg Drane, the Blue Band will perform a “Season In Review” performance highlighting the best songs it played throughout the 2017 football season.

In addition to the band itself, the Blue Band Silks, the Touch of Blue Majorettes, and Blue Sapphire Rachel Reiss will all perform at Eisenhower Auditorium.

Prior to the Blue Band’s performance, the Symphonic Band will play four acts in its part of the concert under the direction of O. Richard Bundy and Ned C. Diehl.

Admission to the concert costs $12 for Penn State students, $18 for the general public, and just $7 for children under the age of 18. You can get tickets at any Arts Ticket Center location on campus or through the online Penn State Arts Ticket Center.

In the most upsetting turn of events, Mikey graduated from Penn State with a digital & print journalism degree in the spring of 2020. He covered Penn State football and served as an editor for Onward State from 2018 until his graduation. Mikey is from Bedminster, New Jersey, so naturally, he spends lots of time yelling about all the best things his home state has to offer. Mikey also loves to play golf, but he sucks at it because golf is really hard.
