Blue-White Game To Kick Off At 3 p.m.

As if this week’s weather wasn’t enough of a hint, it’s almost spring in Happy Valley. Penn State’s annual Blue-White spring football scrimmage will kick off at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. The game will also air live on the Big Ten Network.

As always, admission will be free so fans can watch the team live for the first time since the Fiesta Bowl. Last year’s Blue-White game drew an estimated 68,000 fans back to State College for a day of tailgating and halftime shenanigans. Penn State returns 13 starters this season and 26 additional lettermen.

Penn State decided to charge for Blue-White parking permits for the first time last year — $20 for regular spots and $60 for RVs, though previous season ticketholders received a free parking pass. Parking details for the 2018 faceoff between Blue and White haven’t yet been announced, but Penn State football says additional details for the weekend will be announced in the coming weeks.
