Penn State Hockey Announces Single-Game, Student Ticket Information

Penn State men’s hockey announced its single-game and student ticket information for the 2018-19 season on Wednesday night.

Students can get their season tickets at 7 a.m. on September 11 for $165. The package includes seats to 18 of the team’s 20 regular season games at Pegula Ice Arena. Last year’s tickets cost $143, but only gave students access to 13 regular season games and sold out in just two minutes.

The only home series excluded from the student ticket sale is Michigan, which will be played on November 16 and 17. Separate tickets for this series will be available on August 23 as part of the public single-game ticket sale.

These tickets are not part of the student ticket package because it will be played the weekend before Thanksgiving Break. Students that purchase tickets for the Michigan series will be assigned seats instead of having general admission tickets.

As far as single-game tickets are concerned, members of the Nittany Lion Club will have access to an exclusive pre-sale on August 16 at 10 a.m. This pre-sale will end on August 19; any remaining tickets from the exclusive pre-sale will be sold on August 23 when the public single-game ticket sale begins.

Prices of single-game tickets will vary based on locationΒ and opponent, but club, front-row, and loge seats will cost $60. Standing room only tickets still cost $15 and are the only unchanged tickets in terms of price. Fans cannot purchase print-at-home PDF tickets for games this season to increase security.

Penn State’s regular season begins on home ice with a series against Clarkson on October 11 and 12. The Golden Knights are one of five 2018 NCAA tournament qualifiers that will visit Pegula Ice Arena this season.
