Penn State Hockey Moves Up Four Spots To No. 6 In USCHO Poll
Penn State men’s hockey continued to climb up college hockey’s rankings by checking it at the No. 6 spot in this week’s USCHO poll.
The Nittany Lions moved up four spots following their 4-2 victory over No. 19 Princeton on Friday night. They also received a first-place vote in the poll for the first time since January 23, 2017.

Guy Gadowsky’s program has started the 2018-19 campaign with a perfect 5-0-0 record, and three of those wins have come against ranked opponents. The team received a preseason ranking of No. 16, but has moved up ten spots through the first three weekends of the season.
No. 6 Penn State will be back in action this weekend with a two-game series at Pegula Ice Arena against Arizona State. The puck will drop at 7 p.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Saturday.
