[Photo Story] New Esber Recital Hall Is A Work Of Art

The newest addition to the School of Music is the renovated Esber Recital Hall. State of the art acoustics and world class construction makes the new space a piece of functional art.

Seating above and below surrounds the main stage for an intimate listening experience.
There’s not a bad seat in the house — all of the sights and sounds are on full display here without a bad sightline of the stage or muffled corner in the back.
The new facility was made to have perfect acoustics for music performances.
Chris helps maintain the hall and tests audio levels.
The fin-like panels weigh a few hundred pounds each.
Maestro Gerardo Edelstein works in the facility for one of the first times ever.
Pianists help tune the hall.
The lighting, acoustics, and seating all come together in unison to deliver an unparalleled listening and performing experience.
Hundreds of hours went into every nook and cranny of the hall.
