New Features To Be Included In July LionPATH Update

Yet another update will be released in July in an attempt to make LionPATH more accessible and visually appealing. Shocking, right?

During this change, LionPATH will be offline from July 4-6. It will be back online on Sunday July 7.

One highly requested change is that faculty, staff, and students will now view the same screen for select webpages. Faculty and staff will see a link that says “See What Student Sees” and that will alter their screens to a student view. This change will make it easier for faculty and staff to work with and help students navigate the system and their coursework.

Do you hate your student ID like the rest of the student population? That beloved NSO picture which you were rushed into taking will now also be displayed on LionPATH — in case you needed another reason to avoid logging on. Although you might not like the idea of seeing your face every time you log in, this change makes it easier for faculty members to identify students specifically.

Visual changes will also be brought to the student view. This change is designed to fit students’ needs and what is the most easily accessible. It is based on web analytics, student surveys, and usability testings and should draw more attention to the most highly clicked pages for students.
