Stefen Wisniewski Is Formal, But Likes To Party (Preferably On Broad Street)

Former Penn State offensive lineman Stefen Wisniewski made a bold fashion statement when he announced he had re-signed with the Philadelphia Eagles Monday.

Wisniewski’s tuxedo t-shirt alluded to one of the most iconic lines from Talladega Nights. His strong statement about partying another Super Bowl title on Broad Street echoed another memorable quote from the Will Ferrell classic: “If you ain’t first, you’re last.”

The veteran guard/center’s one-year deal with Philadelphia could be worth up to $2 million with incentives. Wisniewski will likely return to the Eagles as the team’s top reserve on the offensive line, so he shouldn’t have too much trouble finding playing time in 2019.

Wisniewski played for the Nittany Lions from 2007 to 2009. He appeared in 46 games with 24 starts for the Eagles since signing with them in 2016. After Wisniewski was benched this past season, Philadelphia declined to pick up his team option back in March, which made him an unrestricted free agent heading into the offseason.

Now that he’s back in Philadelphia for a fourth season with the Eagles, Wisniewski will certainly try to help the team win another Super Bowl. He was integral to the Eagles’ 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
