Baby’s Burgers & Shakes Up For Sale
Baby’s Burgers and Shakes appears to be up for sale, according to a few signs posted in its windows.
However, the signs note the establishment is merely selling to a new owner as Baby’s current owners prepare to enter retirement, indicating the downtown staple isn’t going anywhere.
Baby’s, located at 131 S Garner Street, is currently closed but plans to reopen in September once students return to town, according to the signs on its storefront.

Baby’s potential sale is the latest bit of news to come out of downtown State College this summer. A few new businesses, including Crust & Crumb Cafe, announced they’d be opening in the coming weeks, while others, including Brothers Pizza, Sadie’s Waffles, and University Drive’s Burger King, have shut their doors for good.
