SPA To Host Nicole Byer For Virtual Q&A August 28

Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) will host actress and comedian Nicole Byer for a virtual question and answer session on Friday, August 28.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. and take place through a Zoom webinar hosted by WPSU Radio and Penn State World Campus. Students can sign up to attend the session and submit their questions for Byer using this link.

The Emmy nominee is widely known for her starring role on MTV’s “girl code,” Netflix’s animated comedy “Tuca & Bertie,” and her self-produced show “Loosely Exactly Nicole.” She’s also made appearances on TV shows like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “BoJack Horseman,” “Lady Dynamite,” and “30 Rock.”

Byer has also received acclaim for her stand-up comedy and her weekly podcast, “Why Won’t You Date Me?”

As with every SPA event, the Q&A session is free for Penn State students and funded by their student-initiated fee. Students will need to verify using their WebAccess IDs before gaining access to the event Friday.
