Penn Staters Rejoice Over Big Ten’s Reinstatement Of Fall Football Season
Penn State football is officially back, folks.
After several weeks of reports that the Big Ten was working on a delayed start to its football season this fall, the conference finally put out a statement Wednesday morning that it would begin play the weekend of Saturday, October 24.
Games will reportedly be played without fans in the stands besides family members and a schedule has yet to be released. However, many Penn State fans still couldn’t be happier that the Nittany Lions are playing football this fall.
Penn State football’s twitter account also put out quite the hype video after Wednesday morning’s announcement, while the men’s basketball team even got in on the action,

James Franklin also put out a statement after the conference’s decision was released. The head coach thanked Penn State President Eric Barron and Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Sandy Barbour for their hard work, along with all of the presidents and chancellors within the Big Ten.
Several Penn State football players also shared their excitement on Twitter Wednesday morning.
