Billionaire Michael Rubin To Host Conversation With Penn State Students
Famous billionaire Michael Rubin will speak to Penn State students and alumni as part of The Boardroom University’s conversation series at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13 via Zoom.
Rubin will be joined by fellow entrepreneur Rich Kleiman for the conversation. Kleiman founded The Boardroom, a sports media/podcasting network company that focuses on conversations about sports business, with Kevin Durant in 2016.
The conversation was described as “an inside look at executives’ playbooks for business & life.”
Rubin is currently the executive chairman of sports merchandising company Fanatics, but he perhaps is better known for his role as co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils. He accumulated most of his wealth by selling e-commerce company GSI Commerce to eBay for $2.4 billion in 2011.
The Boardroom recently created its University series, which has featured prominent figures like NBA superstar Kevin Durant and ESPN President Jimmy Pitaro. The series has hosted conversations at NYU, Syracuse, Texas, and now Penn State.
