Nittanyville Opens Banner Submissions For 2020 Football Season
During a normal football season, Nittanyville would be set to host its week-long camp out in preparation for Saturday’s game against No. 3 Ohio State.
To keep students engaged during a time of limited in-person activity, Nittanyville will host a banner-making contest this week. All qualified banners will be displayed in Beaver Stadium where Nittanyville would traditionally sit stand.
Students are encouraged to create bedsheet-sized banners featuring creative paintings and slogans to support the team. The banners will be visible for all home games throughout the 2020 season.
Submissions are due by 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 29. Should your banner be accepted, it will be judged by “special guests” during Nittanyville’s kickoff meeting via Zoom.
Students can contact officers for details regarding specific banner ideas and for access to the Zoom link. Prizes will be rewarded to the winners of the contest.
Penn State (0-1) will host Ohio State (1-0) in the highly anticipated matchup at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 31 on ABC.
