Penn State men’s basketball’s upcoming matchup with Nebraska has been postponed, according to the Cornhuskers.

The game was originally slated for Saturday, January 30. Both teams said they’ll work with the Big Ten and attempt to reschedule the matchup for a later date.

Nebraska began a program-wide pause of team activities earlier this week due to an undisclosed number of positive COVID-19 tests among “Tier 1” personnel, which can include student-athletes, coaches, and trainers. The Cornhuskers haven’t yet received clearance to resume practicing.

At this time, Nebraska’s next scheduled game is slated for February 5.

In a corresponding move, Penn State has modified two games on its schedule. It’ll now host Michigan at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, and welcome No. 10 Wisconsin to the Bryce Jordan Center at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 30. Both contests will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

Penn State’s game against Michigan and Wisconsin were initially postponed earlier this month due to an undisclosed number of positive COVID-19 tests within the program. They’re the team’s first postponed matchups to officially be rescheduled.
