Penn State Men’s Hockey Cancels Arizona State Series, Pauses Team Activities
Penn State men’s hockey’s upcoming series against Arizona State has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 tests within the Nittany Lions’ program, according to the team.
Routine testing found an undisclosed number of positive COVID-19 tests among Penn State’s “Tier 1” personnel, which can include student-athletes, coaches, trainers, and other related staff members.
The Penn State men’s hockey series against Arizona State scheduled for February 20-21 has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 results among Penn State’s Tier 1 personnel. The contest will not be rescheduled.

Additionally, Penn State has paused all team-related activities for the time being.
The two-game series with the Sun Devils was originally set for Saturday, February 20, and Sunday, February 21. According to Penn State, it won’t be rescheduled this season.
The Nittany Lions’ two-game series with Ohio State, set to take place this weekend, was postponed Tuesday for the same reasons.
Should Penn State get cleared anytime soon, its next scheduled game would come against Minnesota on Saturday, February 27.
