SPA To Host Monet X Change For Virtual Q&A February 24

Penn State’s Student Programming Association will host drag queen and renowned performer Monet X Change for a virtual Q&A session and performance at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24.

Students will receive a link to the WPSU Radio-sponsored livestream once they sign up for the event. They can also send in questions for Monet, too.

Monet is best known for competing on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” winning All-Stars Season 4, Season 10’s Miss Congeniality title, and becoming the first drag queen of color recognized in its Hall of Fame.

Besides being a performer, she’s also plenty of other entertainment opportunities. Monet has toured all over the world hosting the Werq the World tour and her own show “Call Me By Monet.” Monet has her own talk show, “The X Change Rate,” and co-hosts the “Sibling Rivalry Podcast” with Bob the Drag Queen.

Like all SPA events, Monet’s event is funded through Penn State’s student-initiated fee. Students will need to verify themselves using their Penn State IDs to access the stream.
