Jerry Trainor Gives Special THON Shoutout To Phi Sigma Sigma & Alpha Gamma Rho

Popular actor and comedian Jerry Trainor gave a special THON shoutout to Phi Sigma Sigma and Alpha Gamma Rho Saturday, praising their dancers and asking others to donate to their Donor Drives.

Trainor is best known for his roles on the popular Nickelodeon TV shows Drake and Josh as “Crazy Steve” and iCarly as “Spencer Shay”, the latter of which is set to reboot in 2021.

In the video, which was recorded via Cameo, Trainor humorously congratulated their groups’ six dancers for standing for 46 hours and spoke about his time volunteering with children affected by pediatric cancer.

“Standing for 46 hours. How? I don’t know how you do it,” said Trainor. “Penn State THON, you guys are doing awesome. My heart is with you.”

Trainor, who’s previously spent time volunteering at the St. Judes Children Cancer Ward with the rest of the iCarly cast, said that pediatric cancer research holds a special place in his heart. He also urged everyone to donate what they can and support the cause.
