‘Vision To None’ Energizes THON 2021 Livestream

After performing at last year’s THON, Vision To None took the stage at the Bryce Jordan Center and rocked the THON 2021 livestream Saturday morning.

The cover band, which has State College roots, provided a much-needed bolt of energy to the livestream, leading off with The Darkness’ “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” as the first of eight songs played.

Following the opening song, the group pivoted to Ed Sheeran’s “Castle on the Hill” for the second straight year. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Next up was a fan favorite with “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers. That’s one way to fire up a (virtual) crowd!

Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” was up next and it certainly kept the energy going. The hits just kept coming folks, as “All Star” by Smash Mouth was the song right after. The classic by Smash Mouth is always a great way to fire up a crowd.

Next up for Vision To None was “Closer” by The Chainsmokers. The group performed an unorthodox version of the hit song, yelling out to the virtual crowd to “JUMP!JUMP!JUMP!” at one point. We hope all of you watching were jumping.

The band wrapped up the performance with two absolute bangers. Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle” was the second-to-last song, which is always a good one to cover if you’re looking for people to sing along.

A better song to cover? “Sugar We’re Goin Down” by Fall Out Boy. That’s exactly how Vision To None wrapped up the impressive performance. The group ended its performance last year with the Fall Out Boy classic, too.

It’s safe to say Vision To None’s performance was one of the best of THON 2021 so far.
