Drake Bell’s Phyrst Shows Postponed Once Again

Drake Bell’s upcoming performances at the Phyrst have been postponed, his team announced Tuesday.

The shows were set to start at 10 p.m. and midnight, respectively, on April 7 at the Beaver Ave. bar.

The scheduled April performances were already postponed two prior times, once from the original date on March 16, 2020, and then again from the initial postponement date on September 1, 2020. Despite coronavirus restrictions changing in Pennsylvania prior to April 7, Bell’s team said it’s not a good time for the show.

“We are targeting a September date and at this point will be launching it like a brand new show coming Fall when students return,” Lack Love owner Zimmerman said. “Even with restrictions in PA changing prior to the show it just doesn’t make sense to do at this time.

Zimmerman said a new date and announcement will come in August.

It’s unclear whether previously purchased tickets to the performances or the meet-and-greet will be accepted in the fall, but you can request a refund using this form.

Bell is best known for co-starring alongside Josh Peck in Nickelodeon’s fan-favorite sitcom “Drake and Josh” from 2004 to 2007. His original song “Found a Way” served as the show’s catchy, memorable theme song, and he also made several guest appearances on “The Amanda Show.”

He’s produced five studio albums since turning his attention to music full time. His debut album, “Telegraph,” was independently released in 2005, and then re-released in 2007. Bell’s next two albums, “It’s Only Time” and “Ready Steady Go!” were released in 2006 and 2014, respectively. He released two albums in 2020, “The Lost Album,” and “Sesiones En Casa.”
