SPA To Host Elaine Welteroth For Virtual Lecture April 14

Penn State’s Student Programming Association, alongside Penn State Women in Business, will host award-winning journalist and television host Elaine Welteroth for a free virtual lecture at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14.

Penn State students can use this link to register and receive a free ticket. SPA is working with WPSU Radio to stream the lecture.

Welteroth is best known for being a co-host of CBS’ “The Talk” and serving as the former editor in chief at Teen Vogue. She was also the youngest editor in chief at a Conde Nast publication.

Her work has been featured in The New York Times, British Vogue, Glamour, and more. Welteroth earned The New York Times‘ “Best Selling Author” status for her book, “More Than Enough: Claiming Space for Who You Are No Matter What They Say.”

Aside from her journalistic experiences, Welteroth is also known for advocacy for social justice and diversity.

Like every SPA event, the lecture is free for Penn State students and funded by their student-initiated fee. Students will need to verify themselves using their WebAccess IDs before entering the virtual event.
