‘Cowboys Got A Great One’: Philly-Penn State Fans Conflicted, Proud Of Micah Parsons
Micah Parsons is officially a Dallas Cowboy.
The former star Penn State football linebacker was drafted No. 12 overall by Dallas in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft Thursday night. He now becomes the first Nittany Lion taken in the first round since Saquon Barkley in 2018, and the first Penn State defensive player taken in the first round since Jared Odrick in 2010.
Nittany Lion fans are certainly proud of the Harrisburg native, but it’s safe to say some Philly folks are a bit conflicted about the star’s new home.
