Summer Parking Registration To Open May 6

Penn State students who will be on campus for summer classes can register for a parking permit starting Thursday, May 6.

Registration will open at noon on Thursday through the Penn State Transportation Services website. Unlike in the fall or spring semesters, all students will be able to register for summer parking, regardless of how many credits they have or their semester standing.

To register, students will need to provide their Penn State ID number and the license plate information of the car that they’ll be driving on campus. This will need to be their own car or one that belongs to an immediate family member.

Registration is open for students who are participating in Maymester, Summer Session I, or the duration of the summer session. Any student that will only be on campus for Summer Session II and wishes to register for parking should register on June 27. This adjusted registration date also comes with adjusted rates to account for the decreased amount of time on campus.

Following registration, students will receive a temporary permit that can be printed out and displayed on the dashboard. Students should use this until the permanent permit is delivered to them.

Any students eligible for upgrades to their parking permits (such as student-athletes or certain graduate students), or students with ADA placards will need to visit the Transportation Services Office at the Eisenhower Parking Deck. General student parking needs to be purchased online prior to requesting the upgrades.

More information regarding student parking can be found on the Student Parking website or by emailing parking@psu.edu.
