Michal Menet Re-Signs With Arizona Cardinals’ Practice Squad

Former Penn State football offensive lineman Michal Menet has re-signed to the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad, the team announced Wednesday.

Menet was released prior to this season’s start as teams trimmed down their rosters to 53 players. He was one of ten players released by the team just about two weeks before the first game of the 2021 campaign.

A major contributor in the trenches at Penn State, Menet started in 34 games over the course of his five-year career in Happy Valley. He was a two-time captain selection as a Nittany Lion, and even earned playing time in 12 games as a redshirt freshman in 2017. Menet was eventually selected by Arizona in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The former five-star recruit earned third team All-Big Ten honors in his final season at Penn State in 2020 and an invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
