Penn State Student Farm To Host Harvest Festival October 7
Well, folks, the best time of year is almost upon us. Peak fall foliage season is nearly here, and with that, it’s time for harvest festivals and a season packed with fall fun.
If you’re ready and looking to get into the autumn mood, the Student Farm will host its sixth annual Harvest Festival on Thursday, October 7, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The festival will take place at the farm located at the intersection of Big Hollow Road and Fox Hollow Road. The event is fit for all ages and will feature mini pumpkin painting, live music, free farm-fresh produce, and succulent painting.
Penn State students can paint pumpkins and plant succulents for free with proof of their student ID. Non-students should expect to pay $1 for pumpkin painting and $5 for succulent planting.
