Beginning on October 25, CATA buses throughout University Park will cease or shorten routes due to severe staffing shortages. The following routes will be affected:

• No CATABUS or CATARIDE services on Sundays
• All service will begin daily at 7 a.m.
• The Green Link is suspended indefinitely

In response to the change, Penn State will offer some other modes of transportation that can help bridge the gap for students. Here are the highlights:

• The Blue Loop will be replaced by Penn State’s blue buses, which will run approximately every 15 minutes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
• Spin e-bikes will be available to all free of charge from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. You’ll need to make an account through the Spin app

Those who once used the Green Link are encouraged to ride the Red Link, which stops at all but Rec Hall and Westgate. The Campus Shuttle is a good option, too. Students who use the commuter lot should take Campus Shuttle to Curtain Road near the IM Building. This interactive parking map can also help locate lots and parking garages.
