Wide Receiver Kolt Pearce Commits To Penn State Football As Preferred Walk-On

Penn State football’s already stacked 2022 recruiting class got another bump Tuesday night.

Maryland wide receiver Kolt Pearce announced via Twitter that he’s committed to the Nittany Lions as a preferred walk-on.

The Gilman School prospect also garnered interest from schools like Harvard, Maryland, and Yale before deciding to come to Happy Valley, according to Rivals. While Pearce is mainly a wide receiver, he’s also seen playing time at tight end due to his 6’6″, 196-pound stature.

Pearce is just the newest edition to Penn State’s 2022 class, which has risen to as high as No. 1 nationally. Prospects like Dani Dennis-Sutton, Nick Singleton, and Drew Allar highlight the class.

He’ll join other commits Kaden Saunders, Mehki Flowers, Anthony Ivey, Jerry Cross, and Tyler Johnson as a pass-catcher in the 25-man class.
