THON raised $1,055,836.46 over the last two and a half weeks as part of its third-ever Dream Forward campaign, the organization revealed in the HUB Wednesday afternoon. This year’s total crushed THON’s fundraising goal of $600,000.

Last year, the Dream Forward campaign brought in $690,013.53. The first drive back in 2019 raised $701,331.64.

THON’s fundraising year officially began during its THON 5K in October, but the Dream Forward campaign really kicks things into gear.

THON 2022’s theme is “Spark Endless Light”. The organization’s executive committee revealed it shortly before last month’s Homecoming parade.

THON 2022 will kick off on Friday, February 18, and stretch through Sunday, February 20. For the first time in two years, the event will bring dancers, volunteers, and select families to the Bryce Jordan Center for an in-person celebration. To do so, THON will require some to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
