Penn State-Michigan State Set For Late-Afternoon Kickoff
Update, November 21: Penn State’s clash with Michigan State will officially kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, on ABC.
This game certainly appears more interesting following Penn State’s 28-0 win over Rutgers. The Nittany Lions should use that momentum to challenge the Spartans, who were just embarrassed in a 56-7 loss to No. 4 Ohio State in Columbus.

Original Story: Penn State football’s season finale against No. 7 Michigan State will kick off sometime in the afternoon on Saturday, November 27, according to Penn State Athletics.
The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on ABC/ESPN or 4 p.m. on FOX. For now, it’s unclear when that decision would get finalized.
Although Penn State’s out of the playoff picture, Nittany Lions’ matchup with the No. 7 Spartans should have some notable implications. A win over 9-1 Michigan State (which plays No. 4 Ohio State next week, mind you) could knock the Spartans out of first place in the Big Ten East if they beat the Buckeyes.
A win would also notably boost Penn State’s chances of landing an exciting bowl game. For now, the Nittany Lions are expected to wind up in New York, Nashville, or Las Vegas as they chug along with four losses.
Above all else, the prestigious Land-Grant Trophy is on the line this week. Although a trip to the College Football Playoff is just about impossible, James Franklin and his team should strive to bring home this beautiful, 76.2-pound hunk of glory. If they don’t, they could always just make their own at home.
Penn State and Michigan State are tied 17-17-1 in their all-time series. The Nittany Lions have won the last two matchups, topping the Spartans 39-24 in 2020 and 28-7 in 2019.
