Update, 2 p.m.: Free tickets for Yung Gravy’s concert at Penn State have already sold out, according to SPA. However, those hoping to attend can join a standby line before the show and potentially gain entry if capacity allows.

Original Story: Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) will host singer-songwriter Yung Gravy for a free concert at 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, at Alumni Hall in the HUB.

Yung Gravy’s musical style is most easily summed up as party music. He is best known for his 2019 album, “Sensational,” which featured his top hits “Alley Oop” and “Gravy Train,” the latter being a Billboard Smash hit. “Sensational” also amassed 450 million streams.

He is also known for other popular hits, such as “Mr. Clean” and “1 Thot 2 Thot Red Thot Blue Thot,” which were featured on his 2018 album “Cougar EP” and became viral hits on some of Spotify’s top playlists. Additionally, Yung Gravy has sold out seven tours across North America, Europe, Australia, and more.

Like all SPA events, the concert is free for Penn State students and funded by their student-initiated fee. However, registration for tickets is required.
