Wrestling Twitter Goes Wild After No. 1 Penn State Tops No. 2 Iowa
Last night, Penn State wrestling earned a statement win over No. 2 Iowa when it outlasted the Hawkeyes on their own turf.
The top-ranked Nittany Lions bent but never broke against their Big Ten rival foe. Still undefeated on the season, 14-0 Penn State is certainly riding high.
After the late 9 p.m. dual Friday night, fans and alumni from both sides took to Twitter to celebrate (or cope with) the Nittany Lions’ gritty win.

A few weeks ago, three-time NCAA champion Bo Nickal objectively obliterated an Iowa fan on Twitter when he challenged the Penn State star’s (undefeated!) track record against the Hawkeyes. Naturally, Nickal kept pounding that drum Friday night.
