2022 Blue-White Game Slated for 2 P.M. Kickoff

Mark your calendars, Penn State. The Blue-White Game is officially returning with an early-afternoon kickoff.

Penn State football’s annual spring game will officially kick off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, the team announced Thursday morning. The Big Ten Network will televise all the action if you can’t make it to Beaver Stadium.

As always, Blue-White admission is completely free. Parking, offered via presale or starting at 9 a.m. on gameday, is available for $20. Season parking pass holders who renew or place a deposit by February 18 should receive a mobile parking offer, too.

In a media release, Penn State said it will announce more gameday festivities, including its annual “Boardwalk Fanfest,” at a later date.

Penn State’s 2020 Blue-White game was slated for April 18, 2020, but it was eventually canceled due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. A 2021 Blue-White game never came to fruition, either.

The most recent Blue-White game in 2019 brought more than 61,000 visitors to Beaver Stadium, while thousands more tailgated outside the stadium. The annual event serves as a reunion of sorts that doubles as a chance to see the culmination of Penn State’s spring practices.
