Jack Harlow To Headline Movin’ On 2022

Movin’ On announced the lineup for its 2022 festival at a release event in the HUB Wednesday afternoon. Jack Harlow will headline the end-of-the-year music festival, while Aminé and Fitz and The Tantrums will also perform.

Here’s a breakdown of this year’s acts:

Jack Harlow

A rapper originally from Louisville, Harlow went viral when his song, “WHATS POPPIN”, took TikTok by storm. Harlow has since produced two albums — “That’s What They All Say” in 2020 and “Come Home, The Kids Miss You”, which will release on May 6.

In July 2021, Harlow appeared on Lil Nas X’s track, “Industry Baby”, while also releasing his own new single, “Nail Tech”, in February 2022. He currently attracts more than 41.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Aminé

Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Aminé is a rapper and songwriter who gained fame for his commercial debut single, “Caroline”, which rose to No. 11 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. He’s released two studio albums: “Good For You” in 2017 and “Limbo” in 2020.

Listeners might know him best from hit songs like “REEL IT IN,” “Spice Girl,” or “Heebiejeebies.” Nearly 9.3 million people check in with his music monthly on Spotify.

Fitz And The Tantrums

An indie-pop band based out of Los Angeles, Fitz and The Tantrums is best known for songs like “Handclap” and “Out Of My League”. Fitz and The Tantrums’ album, “MORE THAN JUST A DREAM”, put the group on the charts. To date, the band’s monthly listeners have shot up to an impressive 6.9 million on Spotify.

This isn’t the first time the band has come to Happy Valley. In 2014, Movin’ On welcomed the band on stage shortly after its debut album had been released.

Movin’ On has previously hosted bands like Walk The Moon and Fall Out Boy. Artists like Daya, Big Sean, and Wiz Khalifa have also performed at Movin’ On’s end-of-the-year festival.

The organization will announce more acts before the festival begins in April.

Movin’ On will return to the IM Fields on the last day of classes on Friday, April 29. 2020’s festival was canceled, while 2021’s acts performed virtually.
