Lunay Concert Unites Penn State’s Latino Community

Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) collaborated with Penn State’s Latino Caucus to host a free concert last night in the HUB’s Alumni Hall. There, Puerto Rico native and reggaeton rapper Lunay performed for an energetic crowd.

Lunary stepped out on the stage dripped out in Gucci and Louis Vuitton, instantly giving Penn State a great first impression. He started the concert off by singing “A Solas”, which brought loads of energy to the crowd. Immediately, fans started jumping up in the air and dancing. Within minutes of his opening number, Lunay went into the crowd and was immediately swarmed by screaming fans.

Other songs performed throughout the night include “Relaciones”, “La Cama”, “La Curiosidad”, and “Todo O Nada”.

After joining the crowd and hyping everyone up, Lunay noticed someone in the front waving a Puerto Rican flag at him. He then shouted out, “Colombia! Puerto Rico !”, causing the people in the crowd to feel loved and noticed.

Lunay, known for his suave moves and flirting, often spoke in Spanish to ask the “single ladies” to put their hands up and dance throughout his set. Later on, he even led a loud “We Are” chant to hype up the Penn State crowd even more.

Lunay closed off his show by performing his most popular song, “Soltera”. After this performance, he left the crowd chanting for more.
