Doggie’s Pub To Donate ‘ACRES Mule’ Proceeds To Autism Nonprofit
This month, Doggie’s Pub will offer a unique “ACRES mule” specialty drink that aims to benefit a good cause.
The ACRES mule is a classic blend of vodka, lime, ginger beer, and fresh, locally grown mint. For each drink sold throughout April, Doggie’s will donate $1 to the ACRES Project to honor Autism Awareness Month.
The ACRES Project is a nonprofit in State College that works with adults with autism to “foster independence, self-advocacy, and work and life skills.” The organization provides resources like entrepreneurial programming, aquaponics, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation programs, and more.
On June 18, the ACRES Project will host a “Summer of Love” benefit concert at The State Theatre with an afterparty at Doggie’s to follow. Musical acts will include the Skoal Brothers, Anchor & Arrow, Hops & Vines, Cone of Silence, and more.
