Webster’s Bookstore Cafe To Host April 4 Concert Benefiting Ukrainian Refugees
Webster’s Bookstore Cafe is set to host “Songs of Peace, Love, and Light,” a musical performance to benefit Ukrainian refugees, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, April 4.
Attendees can choose to pay $25 at the door or make a direct donation to the Global Disaster Relief Team, which is helping Ukrainian refugees at the Polish border amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Refreshments will be available at the event. Tiger’s Eye Vintage Shop, located inside of Webster’s, will also be open during the concert. The shop is donating 20% of its sales to relief efforts, too.
Webster’s Bookstore Cafe is located at 133 E. Beaver Ave. in downtown State College. Since it was established in 1999, Webster’s has offered vintage books, records, and organic meals to the community.
