PSU Votes Now Accepting Applications For Student Ambassadors

PSU Votes, Penn State’s initiative to get students out to the polls, is now accepting applications for its student ambassador program.

Ambassadors play a major part in Penn State’s nonpartisan program within the Center For Character, Conscience, & Public Purpose. Through the initiative, student ambassadors will help educate students on voting and obtain independent information on candidates and relevant issues. They’ll also help organize other activities and opportunities, including workshops, tabling, voter education, and registration, and develop new pro-voting initiatives.

Penn State estimates that student ambassadors will, in total, lend at least 30 hours to PSU Votes activities.

Students who are interested in entering the program for the 2022-23 academic year can apply by completing an online form by August 1.

For more information about becoming a PSU Votes ambassador or about the program in general, email thecenter@psu.edu or call (814) 867-6402.
