Your Guide To Penn State’s 2022 Blue-White Weekend

The Blue-White game is back in Happy Valley.

On Saturday, April 23, fans will be treated to the first Blue-White spring football game since 2019. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. ahead of kickoff at 2 p.m., but you’ll likely want to be there by 11:30 a.m. to see the Nittany Lions arrive on Curtin Road. The tailgate lots open at 9 a.m., mind you.

Of course, Blue-White Weekend brings far more than just football to Happy Valley. Here’s a brief overview of some other events Nittany Lions fans can enjoy throughout the weekend.

Blue-White Apparel & Equipment Sale

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, fans can pick up team-issued Penn State gear at the Blue-White Apparel and Equipment Sale on the concourse of Pegula Ice Arena while supplies last. It’s open to everyone, and you can find your way in through Gate A.

Over at Gate C, Pegula will host an open-skate session from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission costs just $9, and tickets are available online.

Blue-White Boardwalk Fan Fest

At the head of the entertainment is the Blue-White Boardwalk Fan Fest. Over on Curtin Road, fans of all ages can enjoy food, rides, and other carnival-like activities from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Make sure to bring cash if you want to participate in the fun and games.

If you’re aiming to challenge yourself a little more, there will also be two separate themed escape rooms for everyone to enjoy from Thursday night to Sunday afternoon. Inside the Boucke Building, you’ll have the option of trying to escape a murder mystery or a college library — pick your poison! Those who wish to partake in the brain-testing fun can sign up here. Booking ahead is encouraged. but walk-ups are also accepted. Tickets are available for just $5.

Autograph Signings & Meet-And-Greets

Perhaps most intriguing of all is an autograph session hosted by Success With Honor NIL. It’s a two-part event over the course of two days.

Starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, Success With Honor subscribers will have the opportunity to receive autographs from a trio of Nittany Lions, including quarterback Sean Clifford.

On Saturday, all fans will then have the chance to get some signatures from a handful of other Nittany Lions located outside of Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Running back Keyvone Lee and wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith highlight that session’s autograph opportunities.
