John Harrar Selected To Participate In 2022 Tampa Bay Pro Combine

Former Penn State men’s basketball star John Harrar will participate in the 2022 Tampa Bay Pro Combine. The combine, which showcases players with professional potential, takes place from Tuesday, April 26 to Friday, April 29.

Harrar is one of 24 participants in the combine, which features several days of NBA-style drills and practices alongside training and competitive games. NBA scouts will be in attendance for the first two days of the combine before the competitive games begin Friday.

The combine is in just its second year of existence. Last year, four of the combine’s 49 participants signed NBA contracts. An additional 21 players signed NBA G League contracts, and 17 signed contracts to play overseas.

In his five-year career at Penn State, Harrar played over 2500 minutes and became a team leader on and off the court. In his final two seasons, Harrar led the team in rebounds, earning 8.8 in his senior year and 10.3 in his fifth year.
