Jack Harlow Shows Penn State ‘What’s Poppin” With Movin’ On Performance

Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow was the headliner for Movin’ On’s 2022 festival, bringing A-list talent to an annual concert three years in the making. Harlow is best known for the smash hits “What’s Poppin,” and “First Class,” last week’s No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

Harlow’s DJ and Generation Now label boss, DJ Drama, got the show off to a promising start. “Penn State, what the fuck is up?” he shouted over a mix of trap songs.

Harlow himself came out to a raucous chorus of cheers. He started off his set with an energetic performance of “Nail Tech”, the lead single off of his upcoming album, “Come Home, The Kids Miss You”.

Harlow stopped mid-song to introduce himself to the precious few college students who don’t know who he is. He then slowed the tempo down with “Warsaw”, a cut from his 2019 mixtape, “Confetti”.

“Warsaw” flowed directly into “I Wanna See Some Ass” — a rather self-explanatory song.

Drama then questioned the left side of the audience’s ability to get loud, which Harlow was having none of.

“Are you not feeling the fucking energy from this side right now?” he retorted, arms flailing.

As a condom balloon floated out from the crowd, Harlow launched into “Tyler Herro”, followed by several picks from his debut album, including “Route 66” and “Love is Dro”.

Harlow then performed a slam-dunk crowd-pleaser with his feature on Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby”.

“He’s a fucking icon,” he declared.

Following a mostly ad-libbed verse, Harlow burrowed into the crowd in an attempt to meet all of his fans.

As the end of his set neared and the energy of the crowd ebbed, he pulled out his ace in the hole, “First Class”, which got the loudest reception all night.

As Harlow walked off the stage, he left the crowd with one last sage piece of advice: “You gotta have fun with this shit, Penn State.”
