Newly Drafted Nittany Lions Receive NFL Jersey Numbers

Fifteen former Penn State football stars are now off to the NFL. Now, as they begin their rookie years, a handful of Nittany Lions are receiving their new jersey numbers.

Offensive lineman Rasheed Walker will wear No. 63 with the Green Bay Packers after they selected him No. 249 overall this weekend. Joining him in Wisconsin is undrafted free agent linebacker Ellis Brooks, who will wear No. 41.

The Baltimore Ravens’ newest punter, Jordan Stout, will wear No. 11 with the team. Stout wore No. 98 at Penn State, which will now be taken by fellow rookie Travis Jones in Baltimore.

Additionally, newly drafted Arizona Cardinal Jesse Luketa will wear No. 43 in the desert. He makes a small jump from his No. 40 in college.

Over the weekend, first-round receiver Jahan Dotson confirmed he’d wear No. 1 with the Washington Commanders this season. So far, Penn State’s other newly drafted Nittany Lions haven’t received jersey numbers just yet.

You can’t get these rookies’ jerseys just yet, but they’ll roll out in the coming weeks as they settle into their new homes.
