Penn State Wrestling Legend David Taylor Releasing Exclusive Line Of Bobbleheads

Penn State wrestling legend David Taylor is partnering with sports merchandise company FOCO to produce an exclusive line of Olympic Wrestling bobbleheads.

The two figurines, which show Taylor in a Penn State singlet and as “Magic Man” in a Team USA uniform, are the first-ever Olympic Wrestling collectible bobbleheads released by FOCO. Each can be purchased for $50, and they’re numbered out of 221 units.

“I’m excited and honored to partner with FOCO on this limited bobblehead launch,” Taylor told Onward State. “I’m grateful for the time I spent as a Nittany Lion & winning the Olympic Gold Medal in Tokyo. These bobbleheads will represent that journey and everyone that helped me accomplish my goals.”

Taylor attended Penn State from 2009 to 2014 during the early years of Penn State wrestling’s dynasty. During his Nittany Lion career, Taylor established himself as a four-time NCAA All-American, a two-team NCAA National Champion, and was a two-time recipient of the Hodge Trophy, which is annually given to the top college wrestler.

More recently, he became the first-ever Penn State wrestler to win gold at the Olympics when he defeated rival Hassan Yazdanicharati 4-3 at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

You can visit FOCO’s website to purchase the bobbleheads and to find out more information.
