Penn State Women’s Hockey Releases 2022-23 Schedule

Penn State women’s hockey’s season is inching closer.

The Nittany Lions released their full 2022-23 regular-season schedule Wednesday morning that features 34 games, 18 of which will take place at Pegula Ice Arena.

The Nittany Lions are scheduled to kick off their regular season with a home series against the Wisconsin Badgers on September 22 and 23. The CHA portion of the schedule doesn’t begin until late October when Penn State travels to Lindenwood for a two-game series on October 28 and 29.

Some notable matchups for Penn State include showdowns against Minnesota and Boston University. Mercyhurst and Syracuse are always intriguing matchups, too.

A road series against RIT on February 17 and 18 will cap off the regular season. Then, the CHA Tournament will take place in a location to be determined after the season concludes.

Penn State heads into next season after an 18-10-5 2021-22 campaign that ended with a second-round loss against Mercyhurst in the CHA Tournament. The 18 wins last season were the most in program history.
