After a long hiatus, the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, also known as Arts Fest, returned to the borough to celebrate art in the State College community.

People poured in from all over to enjoy the various festivities the event had to offer.

For the past two years, Arts Fest was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The familiar, colorful banners hanging above Allen Street were a welcome sight.

Other pop-ups on Allen Street, like the water buckets and smoke tunnel, were popular with young and old festival-goers.

Crowds perused the numerous pop-ups and vendors, taking their time to admire their goods.

Other folks took an opportunity to catch their breath and relax on Old Main lawn.

While Arts Fest came and went in the blink of an eye, it’s safe to say that it was surely missed. See you in 2023!
