State College Rotary Club Ice Cream Fest To Return August 6

Bring your sweet tooth and head to South Allen Street, folks. The Ice Cream Fest has returned.

For the first time since 2019, the State College Downtown Rotary Club will host its annual Ice Cream Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, on the 200 block of South Allen Street.

Eight ice cream vendors will be present at the festival, as well as liquid nitrogen ice cream brownies provided by Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania. More activities include face painting, a Dilly Bar eating contest amongst State High football players, a live radio broadcast, and ice cream-themed crafts.

Tickets are on sale for $5 for five ice cream samples or $20 for 25 samples. All proceeds from the event will be donated to local non-profits by the Rotary Club. More information about the festival can be found on the Rotary Club’s Facebook page.
