Will Levis & Sean Clifford Have Odds To Win 2022 Heisman Trophy

Former Penn State and current Kentucky quarterback Will Levis, as well as currently Nittany Lion signal-caller Sean Clifford, have odds to win the 2022 Heisman Trophy.

According to DraftKings, Levis’ Heisman odds are 50/1, which has him tied at 15th-best with NC State quarterback Devin Leary. Those odds are significantly better than Clifford’s, whose 100/1 odds are tied with multiple other players, including Tank Bigsby and Blake Corum. Ohio State signal caller CJ Stroud is currently the Heisman favorite with 11/5 odds.

One bettor likes Levis’ chances so much that he put down the maximum $100 amount on Levis to win back in May when his odds were 100/1.

The Connecticut native turned heads in 2021, recording 2,826 passing yards and 33 touchdowns (24 passing, nine rushing). He helped guide the Wildcats to a 10-3 record and a second-place finish behind Georgia in the SEC East Division.

Meanwhile, Clifford played well when fully healthy for Penn State last year. The Cincinnati native threw for 3,107 yards and 21 touchdowns last season despite the Nittany Lions finishing 7-6 overall. For the first time as Penn State’s starter, he will have the same offensive coordinator for the second consecutive season in Mike Yurcich, so there’s reason to believe the sixth-year quarterback will build on his 2021-22 campaign.
