Left Right Repeat To Host Lion Dash 5K August 27

All Penn Staters and community members are invited to participate in the Lion Dash 5K at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, hosted by Left Right Repeat.

Participants will line up on the 200 block of South Allen Street in front of the Municipal Building at 9 a.m. The designated route travels through downtown State College, the Highlands, and some neighboring areas. 

Dogs and jogger strollers are welcome to race, and participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Penn State gear. The first 100 folks to register for the Lion Dash 5K are guaranteed a free t-shirt, and refreshments will be provided to all participants throughout the course of the race.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. on the day of the race. Fees are dependent on age and title, but all proceeds from the event will be donated to Centre Safe. Registration costs are as follows:

  • College students with a valid Penn State ID: $15
  • Participants under 18: $15
  • Participants 18 and over: $20
