Your Official Penn State-Ohio Drinking Game

Do you smell that? It smells like gameday is on the horizon.

That’s right, folks. Football is finally back in Happy Valley as Penn State hosts Ohio at noon this Saturday at Beaver Stadium. After a season-opening “character win,” it’s safe to say the fans are ready to welcome the team home.

With that being said, let’s celebrate a home game the only way we know how — tailgating. Be sure to whip out this week’s official drinking game to get the day rolling.

  • Chug a water. It’s a noon game, people. Going to be a loooonngggg day.
  • Take a shot after that. We are back in Happy Valley!
  • Take a sip for every replay they show from last week.
  • Take a sip for every Joey Porter Jr. pass deflection.
    • Bonus: Finish your drink if he gets an interception.
  • Drink if you hear someone refer to Ohio as “Ohio State.”
  • Finish your drink for every touchdown.
  • Take a five-second chug if one of Penn State’s running backs surpasses 100 rushing yards. It could happen.
  • Take a shot for any Mitchell Tinsley touchdown. He’s something else, man.
  • Might as well get another water in you. We still got a whole day ahead of us.
  • Crack a new bev if Drew Allar comes in. He is in fact the future.
  • Take a sip if you hear anyone say, “I could’ve made that throw.” No, you couldn’t have.
  • JUMP SCARE: Take a sip if they show a close-up of Rufus the Bobcat. He’s just a weird-looking mascot.
  • Finish your drink if you leave the game early for a tailgate.
  • Take a sip for every poster design the camera shows from the student section. The creativity from Nittanyville is unmatched.
  • Take a shot if the attendance is above 100,000. (No way Ohio can count that high.)
  • Finish your drink if Penn State wins, Then, finish another.
    • Bonus: Take a shot if they cover. Good teams win. Great teams cover.
  • Might as well blackout if Penn State loses (not actually). Drown out the #Pain.

As always, have fun, stay safe, and drink responsibly.
