Penn State-Central Michigan To Kick Off At Noon
No. 22 Penn State football’s game against Central Michigan will kick off at noon on Saturday, September 24, the team announced Monday afternoon.
The game will be Penn State’s second noon kickoff of the season and will air on the Big Ten Network.
The Nittany Lions are currently 2-0 and are entering a game against Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Chippewas, on the other hand, have started the season 0-2 and will face Bucknell this Saturday.
This will be the second all-time meeting between the two teams. In the first and only game, Penn State dominated Central Michigan 40-3 at Beaver Stadium back in 2005.
Penn State’s game against Central Michigan is the program’s annual THON game and is the first of consecutive home games. The next week, on October 1, the Nittany Lions will host Northwestern at Beaver Stadium before heading into their bye week.
