[Photo Story] Fall Foliage Adds A Touch Of Color To Penn State’s Campus
It’s that time of year again, folks.
As the winter season inches closer, many of the trees around Penn State’s campus have started to show some color, decorating our lives with vibrant yellows, oranges, and reds.
Our visual staff set out to capture one of the most beautiful times of the year at Penn State.
As the weather started to cool down, the colors started to pop around campus.
The vibrant pigment certainly makes everyday walks and bike rides easy on the eye.
The trees around the HUB Lawn got particularly colorful this year, making for a backdrop sprinkled with amber, crimson, and gold.
The trees along College Avenue got in on the action as well, popping with bright yellow.
Iconic spots around campus are paired with spectacular fall hues.
Even Beaver Stadium was framed by autumn colors and crispy leaves just in time for the heart of the football season.
The Arboretum has been one of the premier places to take in all of the fall sights.
It’s going to be tough heading into winter, as that means we have to say goodbye to views like this.
