Penn State Men’s Hockey Moves To No. 13 In Latest USCHO Poll
Penn State men’s hockey is on the move, folks.
This time, the Nittany Lions jumped three spots to No. 13 in the latest USCHO Poll. So far, head coach Guy Gadowsky’s team has moved up every week since the beginning of the season.
The move to No. 13 comes amid another series sweep, this time against Wisconsin. The Nittany Lions outlasted Wisconsin 2-1 in game one then thumped the Badgers 4-0 the following night.
The series sweep put the Nittany Lions at 8-0-0 overall, the best recorded start in program history.
Penn State faces a major test this weekend, as No. 1 Michigan comes to Pegula Ice Arena for a series on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5. Friday’s puck drop is at 8 p.m., while Saturday’s start is slated for 7:30 p.m.
