Transfer Portal Roundup: Week 11
Another week of college football is in the books, folks. While the Nittany Lions celebrated a big 30-0 win over Maryland, former Penn Staters didn’t necessarily fare as well.
Let’s take a peek into how former Penn State football players fared around the college football scene this weekend.
Will Levis, Kentucky
Kentuuuuuucky, what happened? The Wildcats suffered a massive upset to 3-6 Vanderbilt on Saturday in large part due to an underwhelming performance from Will Levis. The quarterback threw for just 103 yards and one interception en route to a 24-21 loss. His QBR was 15.5.
Next week won’t get any easier for Levis and Kentucky, as they face No. 1 Georgia at home at 3:30 p.m.
Mac Hippenhammer, Miami (OH)
Miami (OH) may have lost in its Thursday night matchup, but Mac Hippenhammer put on a show. He caught all of the RedHawks’ three touchdowns and logged 107 receiving yards on eight receptions.

The monster performance now gives Hippenhammer 41 catches for 551 yards and seven touchdowns on the season.
The 4-6 RedHawks will try to bounce back at Northern Illinois at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Noah Cain, LSU
It was a quiet week for Cain, as his Tigers narrowly defeated Arkansas on the road. Cain recorded 25 yards on just five carries as LSU won 13-10.
Cam Sullivan-Brown (UMass)
UMass’ woes continued on Saturday with a tight 35-33 loss to Arkansas State. The Minutemen fell to 1-9, while Sullivan-Brown recorded three catches for 72 yards, which gave him a tie for the most receiving yards in the game.
Teammate and former Penn Stater Tyler Rudolph also recorded two tackles for the Minutemen.
Judge Culpepper, Toledo
Culpepper put together a decent performance on Saturday, recording five tackles for the Rockets as they defeated Ball State. Toledo improved to 7-3 as it tries to challenge for a MAC title.
